Hello everyone! I promised to get my blog up and running...and I finally did it! I will post the homework assignments each day, and update the blog on an as-needed basis.
As of right now, there are a couple of events coming up:
First is the
Ice Cream Social coming up this Friday at Arrowhead. There will be food, fun, games, and prizes! Come to the school at 5:30 this Friday, September 10th for a wonderful family-oriented night!
Second is
Open House - Thursday, September 23rd at 6:00 pm.
Third is
Saturday Live. It is on Saturday, September 25th at Pioneer Park (pretty much all day). The three sixth grade classes are planning on doing a
Coffee/Tea basket to auction off. Please bring any donations that would fit this theme by Friday, September 24th (to my classroom). If you would like to donate money, I will be sending a volunteer - with all the money we collect - to a variety of coffee shops to purchase gift cards. That way the basket winner will have gift cards with larger denominations instead of a plethora of cards with smaller denominations. Please call/email with any questions!
I am really enjoying your kids so far this year....what a wonderful group of students!
